  • Review of "Le Rendezvous" at Griffith

    I have been going to Le Rendezvous since I was a child and have always liked the food. The kids menu is also good value. We tried to get a walk in table for six people at 5.30pm last night and was rudely told they were fully booked and couldn't fit us in. Given the time and the lack of people in the restaurant, we were very surprised to hear this. We walked around the corner to Caphs, where we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed delicious meals and great service. We walked back past Le Rendezvous on our way to the car at 7pm and it wasn't even half full. Very poor service. And very silly to turn down the patronage.
